I told Gabriella on her 3rd birthday she would be giving up her bobo.(her name for her pacifiers)I told her that we were going to send them to the babies-that she wasn't a baby anymore so she didn't need them, but the babies did. On her 3rd birthday I addressed a package to "the babies" and listed my mom's address. Gabriella put her bobos in the package & I put it out for the mailman. She was proud that she was helping the babies, but at nighttime started to cry a little. We talked again about her being a big girl, etc & she went to sleep. She hasn't asked for them again! BTW-I did not put a stamp on the package b/c I planned on taking it out of the mailbox before the mailman came. I forgot-& 3 days later my mom in Florida recieved a package from Ohio addressed to "the babies." I had already warned her so she knew-she is saving them to tell Gabriella this great story when she is older!<BR/>melanieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16916935.post-30661077405940223202007-09-11T08:39:00.000-04:002007-09-11T08:39:00.000-04:00This was much easier than letting Jude cry himself...This was much easier than letting Jude cry himself to sleep.
