I know Halloween is controversial. I've always loved Halloween. When I was younger I would start planning my costume a monthI know Halloween is or so in advance. When I was in college I would sew up a storm for the

month of October getting costumes ready for everyone. I really love dressing up and just having fun. Here are 13 things I have dressed up as over the years. I am adding

some pics of my kids in costume as well. Just because they are cute.
1. Albert Einstein
2. A person in a straight jacket
3. Pee Wee Herman
4. Fairy
5. A Pilgrim
6. Raggedy Ann (punk rock version)
7. School Girl
8. 70's Roller Skater (not roller girl but my friend did that one year!)
9. Vampire (also punk rock

version)
10.
Club Kid11. Farmer
12. A Sailor

(I also punked this one out a bit)
13. Dead Bride (I found a wedding dress for $10 and really just wanted to wear a wedding dress - it was before I was married!)
Thursday Thirteen
Buzzy is so cute - these sound very interesting did you get pictures ... pity we are pre digitala nd have to scan in all our lives. Thanks for sharing the Dead Bride sounds ahoot
ReplyDeleteSuch cute costumes (& children)! One grandson was a dalmation last year and the other was Bob the Builder. I don't know what they're going to be this year but I've got to make sure I get pictures!! Mine is up...happy TT!
ReplyDeletewe do not celebrate halloween but I wanted to stop by and wish you a great Thursday!
ReplyDeleteWow you have dressed up as a wide variety of things.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my TT.
Oh how cute.
ReplyDeleteHappy T13 !
Pee Wee Herman is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a fan of Halloween in general (or of any other carneval-like festivity either, for that matter), but the Dead Bride thing sounds like fun. Of course the first picture that comes into my mind at the mention of that is Uma Thurman in "Kill Bill", but I guess that wasn't exactly the look you went for... ;)
ReplyDeleteLove Halloween! Good thing because it's our neighbors favorite holiday :-) From mid to late September their front yard becomes a graveyard and their house has something spooky at every turn, even the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the idea of a punked out Raggedy Ann...hmmm, thinking hard about this one.
Great list - thank you for sharing.
Great list! I did the same list last week! :) Love the pics of your kids too!! Funny how you "punked" out a bunch of your costumes! Happy Thursday!
