Jake has Viral Meningtis. He is in the hospital. He is showing some improvement but has a terrible headache. They are giving him serious narcotics to help ease the pain. He has been poked and prodded, x-rayed and examined more than you can imagine. He is in "community isolation" right now, which means you have to wear a face mask if you visit. The meningitis is not contagious (from what they say). Some day when I have more time I will tell you about some stupid mistakes the nurses and doctors made that originally led to a misdiagnosis. He might be in for a while. I will try to keep you posted.

Tell Jake that we hope he feels better very, very soon. The hospital is not a fun place to be.
