Okay....so Heather (Applehead's cousin - not my sister Heather or the Heather from my old Church....there is sooo many of them....) tagged me to do this little meme (where did that word come from anyhow?). I did it once before but I'll use a different book this time. In fact I didn't have a book near me since I have been on this little cleaning spree and took all the books off my desk and placed them on my newly cleaned off book shelf. I decided I would turn my chair and whichever book I spotted first, I would use. It turns out to be a good one. It is red. I think that is why it caught my eye.
Here is the meme....

"The Revolution" A Field Manual for Changing Your World edited by Heather Zydek
If I preach on Sunday morning about those that the church helps, if I say, in effect, "See! We love poor people because we have a low-income housing project and a clothing donation box. We love the hungry because we have a soup kitchen. We love unwed mothers because we support an adoption service and provide counseling," then the congregation will say what a good Christian I am and shower me with "God bless you."
But if I follow Jesus' instruction to "love your enemies," praise from the congregation lessens just a bit.
Well....Pooh. Who wants to love their enemies? I haven't actually read this book but now I think I am going to get around to it. It really belongs to someone else...someone I wasn't planning on talking to again. I need to return it....I suppose. I'd rather avoid it. Oh the irony.
Okay....I tag Correction G, Toys R Us kid & Kellen.
