I am going to this thing tonight and need an appetizer. I want to take something easy and tasty but unique. Any suggestions? It seems like anytime I made a "standard" there ends up being more than one of it there.

That black bean salsa is a good one. It is in "the cookbook" Steph
if you have a small crock pot to keep it warm in...cream cheese, mozz cheese parm cheese and pizza sauce, with pieces of French Bread to dip it in.
Or...in a throw away pan put layer of refried beans mixed with taco seasoning, cream cheese, cheddar cheese on top, and warm through. Serve with salsa, sour cream, chips, and some veggies if you like.
